Would you like to help a foster rabbit AND show off your own furry friend at the same time? We hope so! For a $20.00 donation (feel free to donate more!!) you will have your rabbit's picture shown as the sponsor bun for an available foster bun. The donation will go toward the cost of the rabbit's spay or neuter. It's simple to do and a great way to help Columbus HRS foster rabbits.
Send your donation to Columbus House Rabbit Society P.O. Box 29444 Cols, OH 43229, or donate online, and include a picture of your rabbit along with a story that you want to share. If you don't want to share a story, no problem. We will just say thank you in its place! Then, just sit back and wait until your little thumper's face hits the web :-) For those of you that have digital cameras or scanners, you can send the picture directly to communications@columbusrabbit.org.

Peyton is a wonderful, 10-pound, neutered male with lovely, large ears that suggest he is a Flemish Giant mix. He is probably two years old or younger. Peyton was found outside with a dog choker around his neck and under one leg. Fortunately, he was not injured. In spite of his poor treatment, Peyton is very friendly, handles new situations well, and loves the five cats he currently lives with. He has excellent litterbox habits, loves to eat, and enjoys being held. Don't be intimidated by his size. Everyone who has met him loves this handsome fellow! |
My name is Jonesy and am so glad that I found my forever home that I want to help other buns. My adoptive parents let me have plenty of space to roam and lots of wonderful hay to enjoy. They even bring homes neat toys that they get from Aunt Karalee like my new Binky Bunny Maze Haven. Hopefully, I can continue to sponsor other buns so that we can all enjoy new families and forever homes. |

Hannah is a beautiful rabbit with an opinion on everything! This gal is very loving, adores being petted, and is as sweet as she can be, but... she must have her own way. She does not like to be confined in an exercise pen so she needs a room or nice sized area to call her own and then she is a very happy bunny. Hannah is vocal with tooth purrs of contentment and grunts of excitement about her food. She loves to race over to greet you and then melt down for pets. Hannah loves her hay and veggies and enjoys playing in her cottontail cottage. With an interactive bun like Hannah to share you home, you won't be lonely. Hannah is about a year old, spayed, and has great litterbox habits. |
Maggie is a Mini Rex who just celebrated her 10th birthday! Maggie's hobbies include playing with her toys (some of which she has kept in mint condition for 5 years) and sunbathing! She also likes hanging out with her neighbor, Chachi, an English Spot. Maggie wanted to sponsor Hannah in honor of her 10th birthday. She hopes that Hannah finds a good place to live for 10 years, too! |

Abby is a very friendly, curious bunny. She loves to throw her toys around and will toss her plastic rings back to you every time. She does cute binkies and head flicks just one day post op! Abby seems to like the kitties too. She's a great little eater - loves hay, veggies, fruit and her pellets. Litter box habits are improving rapidly. This cute little 5 pound mini lop is probably about a year old and is in good health. She was found wandering in a yard, obviously turned loose by her previous owner. Abby was rescued, spayed and cared for by Jodi Heekin, DVM in northern KY. She is now looking for her forever home. Abby would probably like a friend - cat, or bun. She is currently living in her Middletown foster home, but arrangements can be made to meet this sweet girl from Cincy to Columbus. |
I was living in terrible conditions, outdoors in a cage with no love. I was almost euthanized by my former owner. Yikes!! A nice vet tech saved me by calling Karalee. Boy has life changed! My new moms Marae and Gretchen have given me run of the house, lots of pets, veggies, pellets, hay and best of all... love. They also gave me a kitty named Smokey to play with. He's lots of fun. I hope Abby can get a great home like me real soon. |

Nellie is a super sweet Lionhead rabbit who is a little over one year old. She is spayed and litterbox trained, and weighs about 3 lbs. Nellie is a sweet friendly rabbit and adores being petted. She loves her cottontail cottage and other cardboard boxes to play and hang out in. Nellie loves her hay and veggies and can do some fabulous binkies! Nellie will surely win your heart as she has ours! |
Major Triad is eleven years old. He enjoys tossing things in the air, digging in his "mom's" quilt fabric, and vacationing at his summer cottage under the dining room table. Major recently met his forever lady, Blackberry. He hopes that Nellie will be as lucky as he is and find her own forever friend. |

Molly is a big and beautiful 12 lb Flemish Giant looking to take over your heart and home! This gal did not have the best start in life; lived at a daycare confined to a very small cage where she could not even stretch out, but believe me, she is making up for it now! Molly adores her new digs and the spaciousness of a living room and dining room to run and hang out in. She loves to stretch out by the fire and you will often find her flopped on her side, front paws in the air, sound asleep! Molly comes running to her name, will almost trip you for her pellets and salads, and just soaks up all the petting and kisses she can get! She is spayed and has fantastic litterbox habits. Molly is fabulous! |
Penelope wanted to sponsor Molly because she knows what it's like to be a big beautiful white queen sized bunny. These beautiful creatures are often under appreciated and have a difficult time finding homes. But people like Penelope's mom are discovering that big white bunnies like Penelope and Molly are totally wonderful, sweet, sensitive, cuddly and all around awesome! |
