Panasonic brings bunnies to national
spotlight with their "Neuter Your Bunny" campaign. |

In an effort to promote their new product, Oxyride batteries, Panasonic has launched a "Neuter Your Bunny" campaign. Their website, www.neuteryourbunny.com, includes facts on the plight of companion rabbit overpopulation as well as educational material on the health benefits of a spayed or neutered rabbit. Please send kudos to Panasonic for this effort at their contact page! RASCAL's rabbit spay/neuter day report. Our bunny exclusive spay/neuter day in Columbus saw over 20 rabbits get fixed in one day, many households with two or more! Some drove from as far as Dayton, Ohio to have their rabbits fixed on RASCAL. The Columbus House Rabbit Society was on hand to counsel pet owners on the special care that rabbits need after surgery and to educate the public on proper housing and nutrition of these special animals. Huge thanks also to the Capital Area Humane Society for all their help with this event. If you have a rabbit that needs fixed and missed this event, don't fret!
