Crafty CHRS Donations Help TCHS Bunnies
CHRS volunteers mailed boxes of hand-made bunny toys to Wonderland Rabbit Rescue in Michigan and our friends at Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue & Sanctuary (Ffive Rescue) in Youngstown this morning for the TCHS* buns they took in.
At least one more box for one more group is in the works, being packed up now. Thanks again to Emily Uphill and the CHRS Craft Group for donating their time and talents! And another thanks to the Uphills for the use of their office, and Emily for stuffing hay and packing up the boxes!!! We have the BEST volunteers!!
If you missed Craft Day (or just aren't crafty) and want to help out, these groups could still use all the help we can send.
Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue and Sanctuary (F5RS)
F5RS is near Youngstown, OH.
They could use help in getting the rabbits spayed or neutered. They can also use hay (any hay but alfalfa) and toys.
Their paypal address is email@example.com
Mail donations to:

North Lima, Ohio 44452
They took in rabbits with medical and behavior issues. The biggest need they have is exercise pens for their foster homes. They can also use Jo-Ann Fabric gift cards for sheepskin rugs for their mobility challenged buns or Giant Eagle gift cards for canned pumpkin, greens, and veggies. They could also use cash donations to offset vet costs.
To donate funds, contact Suaz at 412-953-1770 (they do not have an online source for donations at this time).

They need rectangle cat litter boxes for the rabbits, big water bottles, and toys. They can also use money for vet costs for spays and neuters.

Capital Area Humane Society
Our local shelter in Columbus, Ohio accepted 11 of the TCHS bunnies, one of whom has already been adopted!! CAHS is not asking for any additional donations at this time, as they are fortunate to have an in-house vet staff to provide spays/neuters and medical care, and our recent MMC fundraiser enabled the purchase of additional toys and supplies earmarked for the rabbits.
Thanks again to all of our CHRS members for your support, generosity and dedication to improving the lives of rabbits in Central Ohio and beyond.
