Run, Rabbit, Run!
(Buns Mandy and Hoosier, who probably don't care that mom is running, as long as they are fed on time.)
On October 16, 2011, Columbus HRS member and proud rabbit-parent Shannon McLoughlin Morrison will be representing "Team Rabbit" in the Columbus Marathon!
Mile Marker number 18 on the Course Map has been designated with Shannon's name in honor of her chosen charity - CHRS!
Shannon says, "I am running for the bunnies. Rabbits are one of the most abandoned pets and the third most euthanized. Adopt a bunny. Check out Columbus House Rabbit Society to learn more about owning a house bunny!!!! Please check out my Crowdrise site and donate for the buns!"
We are really proud of Shannon for committing herself to such an ambitious event, and are equally grateful to her for competing in the name of CHRS.
As the event date nears, we'll get a group together to hang out at Shannon's mile marker and cheer her on behalf of the bunnies! Go Team Rabbit!!!
