Here Come the Babies!!
Ready or not, here they come! Both Arizona and Diamond's babies will be making their debut on the adoption floor at Capital Area Humane Society this Saturday October 28th. Arizona and Diamond are 2 of the 6 rabbits who went into CAHS foster care from room G.
Arizona and Diamond went into foster care around September 14th and less than a week later, both gave birth to a litter of babies. Arizona on September 18th and Diamond on September 20th. Arizona's babies are named Fritz, Sharpei, Silver, Snow and Thumper. Diamond's babies are named Bugs and Thumper. Each one is cuter than the next.
So, don't waste any time! Come on in and say hello or give a kiss or two to the babies. Remember, they grow up fast and may get adopted even faster with all the inquiries we've had.

Bonfire Blast
It couldn't have been any better. A brisk Fall day, a chill in the air, lots of warm food, and a roaring hot fire. Another CHRS Bonfire has come and gone, leaving us with lasting memories.
Cornhole (always, Cornhole).
Bobbing (or "fishing") for apples.
Door prizes.
Sharing bunny stories.
Making new friends.
Laughing with (at?) old friends.
The drama of Fire Juggling.
Juggling two fires (or fire pits).
Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.
Warm chili and mac and cheese.
Hot chocolate.
Cookies and cakes and candy, oh my!
It was everything a bonfire is supposed to be. A great evening of hanging out with the people who understand us - and our bunnies - best.
To those who shared in the fun - thanks for coming.
And to those who worked to make it possible - THANK YOU.
